Friday... Hmmm Friday. What did we do yesterday? Seriously, while I was pregnant and even more now, I have the worst memory. Guess lack of sleep and extra responsibilities will do that to you. If it weren't for my total baby app I would know what the heck I am doing. Pregos and new moms out there... Get this app!!! I think its like $4.99 but way way worth it!!
Anyways, Friday! We got up and like thirty min later he was asleep again. One thing I realized, just because they wake up doesnt mean they are finished sleeping. We did our normal sleep, eat routine and then a friend from church brought me lunch. :) after that Carter went back to sleep. Yes he sleeps a lot! But still not as much as he needs. Sleeping helps brain development and in the first year your baby's brain doubles in size. I get lots of info out of my free baby magazines. (go online and register at all the formula and diaper websites. Get lots of free stuff and coupons that way) after eating and playing a little Carter went back to sleep at 4:30. I was not going to let him sleep four hours like the day before! So Derrick got home and he had to take sleeping Carter from me because I had (and still have)a horrible crick in my back. At 6:15 we met my folks and Brady and karissa at united for supper. After putting him in his car seat and driving there and taking him out of the car, Carter stayed asleep till 7! Then we went home, fed him, and gave him a bath. And again he would not go to sleep till finally about 9:45! And so we went to sleep too! He did good tho, slept till Midnight and went straight back to sleep and then slept till 5:30 and then again till 8:30. Pretty easy night. Oh one thing I do want to add (because he just did it) if your baby is sleeping and cries in the middle, it's ok. He is just trying to go back to sleep. I read that babies do thy more when they are overtired and under slept. Well that about wraps up my Friday. Fun huh?! Yea, not so much. But I love it.
