TGIF

I'm never too excited about Fridays because all my days are the same but I am today! This has been a really long and exhausting week and I am ready fir Derrick to be home fir a couple days. Carter slept little over 11 hours last night with one feeding in the middle. So I have a problem. When I am really strict with Carters naps he us so happy all day long but will wake up atleast two times at night to eat. When I'm not AS strict (still strict but my tired days when I dont want to fight him) he is grumpy and sluggish all day but seems to sleep better at night. Still in the testing mode of sleep! Everyday is different. Dad said something that made me feel so good "atleast everyday you get older" meaning everyday I am one stepcloser to figuring him out! A little ray of sunshine! this weekend I hope to get a lot done. So much I need to do around the house, get moms gift ready and get ready for her party Saturday. Well in middle of nap #1. he always takes it pretty soon after he wakes up, guess takes him a while to wake up from night sleep. One awesome part of my day. When he first wakes up he loves for me to hold him!! Today we just sat in silence talking to each other and laughing! Best part if my day!! Again Carter has not had one good nap. Poor thing. He had been all sleepy and out of it all day but won't sleep. I have in and held him for his nap around four! He just looked so sleepy! Perma green sprayed our yard for the first time today. I want nice grass with no stickers so Carter can play in the yard someday! When Derrick got home i put carter diwn and he stayed asleep so i gotus food and then went to my folks house for a little quiet while Derrick and Carter "bonded" over the basket ball games ha. Itbwas nice to get away for a few. I love Derrick! Now I am finishing laundry and dishes while Derrick puts booger head to bed. Then night night for me. Busy day tomorrow!
