Surprise!

Well yesterday Carters naps were shorter than normal so I thought maybe he wasn't that tired since he slept so good the night before. But when he fell asleep at 430 I expected him to sleep till at the latest six. Nope!!! He slept till nine!!! And I wasn't even holding him the whole time!!! So needless to say when he woke up he did not want to go back to sleep! The really funny part is Derrick would finally get him to sleep, lay him down and two min later he would be awake again. Cracked me up but the last time, I checked on him, he wad awake of course but the really funny part is he had a dirty diaper. So we had to turn the light on, undress him, basically wake him up more to change him. But I was relieved because he hadn't pooped in three days! Well he went to sleep after that(mommy put him to sleep). And five hours later woke up to eat. that was derricks shift so he got about four hours of sleep before he had to get up. Lucky for him he gets like four more hours to sleep after too. I, on the other hand, always wake up even if it's not my shift. So I woke up at the first feeding and again two hours later. Silly kid. He has no idea if he wants to sleep thru the night or not. That darn nap got us!! Now I know better than to let him take four hour naps before bed time! Ha
